Robin McLaurin Williams (July 21, 1951 – August 11, 2014) was an American comedian and an actor. He portrayed Alan Parrish as an adult in Jumanji and read an audiobook of the original Jumanji picture book in celebration of it's 30th anniversary. Out of respect to the passing of Williams, his character Alan Parrish is referenced in the 2017 film Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.
